2027 tryouts
Tryouts are in January
Tryouts are free, and trying out does not mean leaving Little League — our players do both. Bring a glove, cleats, bat and helmet if you have them, plus water. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Sample content
Missed January? Get in touch anyway. Families can join after tryouts whenever it makes sense on both sides — if that age group still has room under its roster cap and the schedule works for your family. We will tell you honestly which of those two is the problem if the answer is no.

What the tryout looks like
Players are evaluated on overall skill level, effort and coachability across throwing and fielding, hitting, base running, and position-specific skills including pitching and catching. Every player is evaluated by at least two coaches. Prior travel ball experience is not required.
2027 program fees
What it costs to play
About $400 a season per player, the same across 9U through 13U. It's collected in two payments: a flat deposit at registration, then the balance once your team knows how many tournaments it's playing.
$200 deposit, at registration
The same for every age group. It secures the roster spot and goes straight to entry fees for your team's first tournaments — it does not cover uniforms or apparel. Paid by card through Stripe when you register.
Balance, before the tournament season
Roughly $200 more, depending on how many tournaments your team plays. This is where the uniform and apparel package, player and team insurance, facility time and the remaining entry fees sit. Every team is guaranteed three tournaments; some add more. Once the slate is confirmed at the pre-season family meeting we invoice the balance — entry fees split evenly across the roster — due before the first tournament. A team playing only the three guaranteed events pays less than one that adds four more.
What sets the balance
Your uniform package, insurance and your team's tournament count, split evenly across the roster. You'll see the number before you owe it, not after.

Takes about five minutes. You pay the $200 deposit now; the season balance comes later, once your team's tournament slate is set.
